Apologies, its not "Jasper" Melling,this guy was known to all as "Basher", partly because he was prone to giving out cracks around the ear and partly because he taught Metalwork...hence "tin Basher"

That's me and Bryan Talbot to Dave Marsden's left. Dave went on to be the finance director at Rover cars and we remained firm friends until his sad death in 2010.
Sadly David Marsden died, Nov 2010. Far too young.
The pupils in row directly behind teachers, right to left, are: Gareth Boot, Keith Jones, John Wynn, Peter Aspinall (me), Peter Livesey, David Mason, Alex Cunliffe (I think), Unknown, John Lowton, the legendary Howard Nichols, Tony Rigby, (I think) unknown. Where have all those years gone.
