You could set your watch by him turning up in The Owl Inn at UpHolland, every night!

'Owd Block was still there in the 70s when I went there, looking at that face again still give me the shivers. He retired whilst I was there and Mr Tattum took over as headmaster, he was a pussycat compared to Mr Heyes.

I know the names of some of these boys, the back row(going from left to right)- Richard Caddie, Graham Poole, then me, George Rothwell and Jimmy Sudworth.
Middle row(from left to right)- first one i dont know??second has been named, Tommy Melling, dont know?, Alan Hughes, Alan Carr??
Front row- Alan Penworth, George Fowler, Thomas Tomney, next 2 not sure?? then, Norman Daniels and lastly James Reeves.

do you mean Jack Caddy is the first one on the back row.

Jimmy is my uncle - never seen this pic before. Does anyone have a class picture of with my dad, Alan Sudworth, on it? He says there is a class pic somewhere of him and is class taken 1951-1954 with Mr Hilton (aka 'Owd Haggy) on it. If you have that picture, or any pictures of my dad with his class, I'd be great to see them.
