I never had the pleasure of going to Gidlow as in 1987, our yer went straight to high school when middle schools were scrapped but I remember the school being there as when I was younger I used to go to Beech Hill Library for my books, which was next door to the school. Such a shame they demolished it as it is a part of history and I hate old buildings being demolished! It is sacrilege!
