I think the lady on the left-hand side was the daughter of Mrs Lyon who was the dinner lady at the time. I seem to remember that Mrs Lyon made aprons for the girls.

The teacher on the right-hand side was Mrs Magee. There are only two children I can name one being my daughter Janette and the other Christine Jones.

Can anyone recognise themselves?

Sadly, no, although I was at St Stephen's around then - I presume this would be the year above me? I'd have started in the September of 1967 (I turned 5 in October 1967) - my contempories were Julie Bennett, Janet Bibby, Jane Else, Paul Fisher, Colin Ellam among others. I do recall having a class photo (sadly long time lost) but would love to see a copy now!

I remember you leaving - I was devastated as you were my best mate in school! I also remember you chopping a chunk out of my hair as well but that's another story....
