Evelyn Terry my husband says the lad on the back row in the white shirt is Tony Connor, you are correct with Cliff Marsh and Joe Biggy, 3rd from right on front row is Eddie Liptrot. Don't know if you know but Cliff Marsh sadly passed away about 18 months ago. My husband is Terry Harrington 1st left on the front row and Cliff was one of his bessy mates. Second row 6th from left is John Daniels also a bessy mate of Terry's and he passed away just a few weeks ago.

Hi Chris,thanks for the update,so sorry for all the friends Terry has lost.
On a lighter note yes I can recognise Terry now and must tell you that Mr and Mrs Harrington who I believe lived in Christopher Street were good friends of my parents Bill and Maggie Collier who lived in Ince Green Lane.
Small world isn't it.

Evelyn, Terry remembers your mum and dad well, being friends with Nellie & Jimmy, Nellie only passed away in November 2009, she was 94 and upto 3 months before she died she did everything for herself, very independant. A couple of years after Jimmy died 1997, she moved from Christopher St to sheltered accom. in Springfield near were we live.

My dad was Cliff Marsh .I recognise lots of the names from things he told us especially Joe Biggy ,Tony Connor Terry Harrington and John Daniels .He always spoke well of the friends he had as a young lad .Sadly he did die in 2008 John Daniels always came to see him but has also passed away recently .
