This is a photo of my husband and pals and Owd Black with some of the lads growing cabbages in the garden, they used to sell what they grew. I can name all the lads, can anyone else. Note the size of the cabbages!!!

Lovely to see the backs of the houses on George Street and the Wagon Works building again. What a brilliant idea the school garden is, and obviously flourishing. I think schools are trying this idea out at the moment.
