Aileen, do you have a sister Margaret? i was a pupil of St Mark's Sec School for Girls from 1959-1963. There was a Margaret Marsden in my year, i seem to remember that she attended Highfield Junior School.

Sadly there are quite a few who are no longer with us.

Yes I knew Raymond very well and we hung around in the same crowd at Janet's. His mother and my mother were first cousins.His wife was expecting their first child. It was all very sad.

Yes, my Dad's name was Fred. The GREENS were related.Mrs. Green was my maternal grandmother's sister. The Lowton's were Nellie and husband Aaron. Their son also named Fred

INDALO is the name of an ancient drawing found in caves in the Velez Rubio/Blanco area of Spain (South East) It is painted on the houses and is said to ward off evil spirits and is a figure of a man with a rainbow over his head... matchstick type!It is also a symbol of the whole area. Iron and ceramic versions are for sale everywhere and these are also on houses. Hope that makes sense to you Aileen
