Hi Dave yep there are plenty more. Whoever it was who compiled it??? Must have collected every newspaper cutting about the Linacre from opening to closing. I'll put some more on when I get some spare time to scan them in<g>

theres a story in the skem advertiser dated 6th october 2009 about ken hodge, shows a picture of him with both legs amputated through diabetes

Ken's son (I think it was his son?) became a professional footballer. I got tickets off him when he played for Northampton when the Latics played there.

Wolves records don't show any of the three representing the first team, perhaps they moved to other clubs.

My son has just signed a three year deal at Wolves aged 16 yrs. He is Ryan Schofield from Shevington Moor.
Nice touch seeinh he is a centre back as well and a Wigan lad.
