Who is the teacher? Is it Mr Snowden?

Although I left in 1969, I think that's Mr. Tomlinson.

That's definitely Bill Tomlinson (sadly no longer with us). In the middle of the back row is Ian Postlethwaite,now vice-chancellor of the University of Northumbria, I believe.

Any chance that you can add some more names,Philip? I can recognise Roy Pearson, Jean Heyes, Marian Dobson. Roy Corner
and Fred Whittle but I'm struggling after that.

Is Marian Dobson the first girl on the left? We were friends as children but I hadn't recognised her.

Did Ian Postlethwaite have a brother Tom?

You're quite right Irene, Marian is the first girl on the left.
P.T. I believe Ian Did have a brother but I don't know his name and I don't think he went to HAGS. I think they lived in Park Road in Hindley (near the Grammar School).

Phillip, seems a long time ago that we had to go on that Biology Field Course in North Wales. I think that the lad next to Keith Barton was called Trevor (can't remember his surname). Like Arthur Maiden he joined us in the Lower Sixth from Mornington High. Mr Tomlinson was a great Maths teacher and generally good bloke.

Yes, back right is Trevor Morrison. Reader, I married him. Sorry to say he died in 1997.

How age devours your memory and in 2015 its even worse. I could not remember 6 so not too bad really. Anybody thinkig about a reunion?
