This brings back some really good memories of my time at the ol d Wigan Tech building.I was a Carpentry&Joinery student 1963-69.It was a great college to be at, with some cracking fellow students. The 3rd f/left is tutor Mr John Strinfellow, (from Hindley).6th along was Mr Mc????, he was from St Helens. He was a quiet spoken nice guy.Can anyone put the rest of his surname in.I was serving my time with a large construction co, Gerrards of Swinton.A lot of my fellow students were apprentices with Wigan Borough Direct Works.I'm in touch with two of these, Dave 'Wink' Winstanley & Carl Forshaw.Others were Kevin Catterall,Colin Brooks & Dennis Kelly.Anyone out there from the Carpentry/Joinery classes,of the aforementioned era, please get in touch via my email on this posting, as I no longer live in the Wigan area.

Info from Kevin Catterall, the tutor 2nd from r was Mr Mcooey, from St Helens. As regards my previous post, the other tutor I referred to was Mr Stringfellow.(incorrectly spelt x me).

Was there from 78 to about 84, Bill Draper was still there.
Mr McCooey was also still there as well, what a lovely man he was.
