Thank you for posting these photos. This one enables me to reminisce the assembly we would attend with Mr Shenton, walking up and down the ranks, cane held firmly behind his back (not that I ever saw him using it) while he delivered his daily message. A lovely man and I believe a lay preacher.

It,s sad to see the old school dieing but its good to have a memory kick seeing inside where the classrooms where i can still see myself in the bottom right hand classroom which i think was the juniors and my mother telling the teacher off for putting ruler marks on the back of my legs and then in the big hall upstairs for attendance and pe with mr Rudd and the amount of times i have ran up and down that staircase and clambered over the coat racks like a monkey. I have been looking at these photos for a couple of years now and they are the only link to my early life so they become very personel so thankyou very much w.w and all who contribute
