The only person I recognise is the teacher. She was my third year form teacher and French teacher, Miss Keating. What a tartar she was, whacked me on the knuckles with the straight edge of a ruler, ouch.
This was my class and I was 1st on the right 3rd row. I can name all the girls except one and and she is the first girl on left front row. I think she lived in Ashton but if anyone can help I would love to know her name.
I am the one who posted and I am 3rd from the right back row , my very good friend Winnie 'Cunningham'is 3rd from left back row , and yes it certainly is Miss Keating , what a character she was, still not found the mystery name Chris ? .... dont we all look exceptinally 'prim and proper' , should really have written all that in French in Miss Keatings honour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was in this photo, I cetainly know all those names as if we were all in the same class. I was head girl at the time and remember shaking a desk as MISS KEATING was putting up a poster on the wall,of course I was sent to SISTER ROSE to be severley punished.
I emigrated to Austalia 1968.
