Located on Manchester Road, Higher Ince, between Petticoat Lane and the railway bridge at the end of the park, going towards Hindley. Me with Jean Symmons planting the tree, my mother behind us, Miss Leyland, Mrs Dowey, my sister Kathleen doing the hoodie thing chewing her finger.Who else do you know ?

My husband, Terry, remembers planting a tree there, but cannot see him on the photo.

lawrence the boy behind you with the cap on is jack farrimond im married to his brother harry he knows you he as not seen you in 50yrs he remembers the photo being in the paper

I am sat here with my mum, she is Lilian Higham on the picture she is 4th on the left next to the teacher. She remembers Marion James, Jack Farrimond, Jean Symmons, The head teacher Miss Leyland
