Mr Edmondson took this picutre. Myself and two friends on the photo were allowed to go on the trip after we had left Whelley school due to the generosity of Mr Edmondson enrolling us on the pupil list of passengers even though we had left school and were actually working for a living at the time. Another another friend of mine, Norman Green from New Spings, also came along and was mistaken for 'der lieder' of the school trip when we got out of the coach in Oberwesel am Rhein. The picture was taken in Koblenz am Rhein on a day trip. Left to right: Philip Harrison, Malcolm Milner, Phillip Brookfield.

Hi good picture. I've been trying to trace some school friends of mine and I notice you mentioned a Norman Green from New Springs.I wonder if it's the same person I remember. my other friends included Barbara Fawcett, Bobby Smith, Olive Eccleston,Phyllis Poulson. if it's possible I'd love to look at those other photos to see if there are any of my friends on them.
Thanking you in anticipation
