Janet,
The only Smith of that year I remember,lived on the Riding Lane estate.He had a sister who went to the Grammar school.I can,t remember his first name but his nickname was Smee.I can't make him out on the photo even though he was in this class.

Hi Phil it is the right billy as we lived there is nick name was smee do you know anybody who would recognise him
he was 10yrs older than me so i dont know him at that age and as i have no photos of him he died when he was 42 that was 1986 i;ve been looking a long time for any photos
