Like the photo and it reminds me of my infant School in Upholland .Wish I could go back and capture some of those moments. Nice one David and I didn't turn out gay either though have never stopped making the tea........lol

Yes i lived in James ST. if i remember correctly your Mum used to have a shop. I think you where a very good friend of Andrew Sutton. I now live in Barcelona.

Susan, yes mum did have a flower and fruit shop on Warrington rd opposite little rock ferry,my cousin Carol had the hairdressers next door and her mum had the wet fish shop.for some reason i cant remem any of the girls but remem most of the boys,must have been my macho lower ince childhood, thanks for reply hope you are happy and healthy

Hi David, After all these years i never knew Carol was your cousin, my mum used to go every Friday to have her hair done. How is Carol does she still live in Ince? Do you ever keep in touch with anyone from B&B,Spring View or St.Marys?

Susan, Carol is retired now and lives in Windermere,where she had a hotel for many years.I left Wigan in my early 20s and sadly lost touch have actually got back in touch with some via this site

Just to let the lady named Carole know it is Anne Lawrence I knew all of the Lawrences when I was a young boy growing up in Lower Ince.It is the first time on this site for me ,faces look familiar but names have been forgotten.
