We must have been watching another class, but the picture gives a great view of the big wooden climbing frame that was enjoyed by everyone. It was built by some Dads over a weekend, some time before I arrived in 1976.
The trees around the edge of the field were the result of ' Plant a tree in '73'.
When the land was built on a couple of years ago I think the developers were prohibited from cutting some of them down.

I think there is a few of the trees on the Ash Lane side of the housing now here.
That Wooden climbing frame looks very small compared to my memories...It was this huge tall thing!..lol..
And don't forget the tunnels!..although I think a few years after I left children were banned from them, they was finally removed?.

I thinks my daughter is on this photo Leanne Haddock started nursery september 1986. front Row Sat down. I also attended the nusery 1961 i know i was about 3 years old at the time. we had beds and would take a nap in the afternoon. Mrs Singer was a nusrery teacher.
