Here is Mrs Briggs trying to coax an enormous kite that we had made into flight.
It was a trail run when the children had gone home.
The tunnels you can see were big concrete pipes with earth piled up at the sides forming a mound, and then grassed over.
They disappeared around 2000 - I can't remember exactly.
I suppose they do look a bit worse for wear!
