Simmister's nick name was Little Jesus, when I was there. He was a vicious man.... WOW!!!!, You might remember his desk being at the back of the room and a boy was sitting at the front talking to someone next to him, Simmister crept up behind him and whacked him across the shoulder blades with a big stick, the young bloke dropped to the floor in so much pain, if Simmister was worried he didn't show it, but the teachers could get away with it in those days.
