The one second from the right is either me or my sister Doreen and the girl in front I think is Margaret Unsworth, definitely Unsworth but first name might be wrong

Thanks Sandra, I think you are right. I can never remember which is which. One of them is the mother of one of my childrens friend and I think she may be Margaret, her daughter's name is Lisa.

Hi Sandra, Yes I remember your family and your and mine all went to St Paul's. We lived in Arthur Street, in the terraced houses that used to be for miners many years ago, do you remember it? Northumberland Street went off it and the Crown Pub was at the bottom of that and is still there I believe. Many years ago, when I was 17, I went out with Alan Speakman and after I broke up with him didn't he marry your sister Christine? If I am on the right track, I seem to remember that their little boy (Ithink it was their first child) had a heart problem, if this is right is he O.K. It sticks in my mind because when my sister Doreen was leaving to live in South Africa (before they moved over to the USA) Alan came down to wave them off and he was worried about this little boy. I know they didn't stay together. We moved from Goose Green in 1960 when those houses were being demolished. Hope this helps your memory a little. I have seen all the photos on W.W. of your family. Another thought, years ago my daughter was seeing a boy for just a short while and I think he was one of your sons, may be yours, I think his name was Paul??
Best regards

Hi Helen, Yes Doreen and I are sisters and we have a younger brother Keith. Mrs Fairhurst in Northumberland St was my grandmother. Doreen, Keith and their families live in Gainesville, Georgia, USA. Hi Carole, l lived at number 37, with my Aunty and uncle, Alice and Bob Johnson. My Mum died there in April 1956 and l remember your Grandmother being so kind and always asking me if l was ok. l think Doreen and l are the same age, we were in the same class at St Pauls School. The other girls l remember are Margaret Browm and Kathleen Blackledge and also Kathleen Jennion who lived across the street from you.
