Hi kath, another good photo trinity girls was fab where is janet heyes she was in the band at one time.

Yes Stephen they are TWINS! No suprise there then eh?! I just hope that I got them the right way round .. no doubt they will let me know if I havent. Christine took over as principal cornet player when I left the band - Both of them are excellent players and are from a very talented brass band family, both their brothers are brilliant cornet players, and their Dad, Jack Withington, was our conductor
for a few years

Hi David, Janice isn't in view on this photo but she would definately have been playing that day. I've not seen or heard from her for ages, would love to tho'

Hi Kath, I bet the band was playing 'Blaze Away' it always sounded great while walking down Rectory Road. Great days! xx

Hi Kath! This was my first ever walking day when I played my trombone. I was eight years old. Janice Heyes was on first trombone, Judith Clayton, Ann Percival and me were on second trombone. Is the person on the far left Audrey Banks? She still plays with the girls - Take care, Bev Stoll
