I think the location is Neville St Platt Bridge with the war memorial on the left and the old doctors surgery on the right.

i think this is near andys chippy
It's actually L/pool Rd. end of David St. If you look carefully you can just make out on L/H/S of banner the cross in cenotaph and the building in the background was a chippy. The building to R/H/S of banner was Dr.Duffy's old surgery & the banner is blocking the view of the old co-op on corner of L/pool Rd./Whistley St.
