i remember most of the ministers.i was a member of st bs as we used to call it.my aunty b was the the verger, betty baxendale.Happy days.
The house is the new vicarage built for my dad, Ernest Traverse, as the flat we lived in when first at St B's had a very leaky roof!
Is the Revd. Jack Winnard still officiating as a member of the clergy?
Sadly for us, but he would be happy, Reverend Jack Winnard passed to the other side. Monday 12 July 2022. Jack said in that day this would be for him Sunshine in his soul.
Lyrics
1. There is sunshine in my soul today,
More glorious and bright
Than glows in any earthly sky,
For Jesus is my light.
[Chorus]
Oh, there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine
When the peaceful happy moments roll.
When Jesus shows his smiling face,
There is sunshine in the soul.
2. There is music in my soul today,
A carol to my King,
And Jesus listening can hear
The songs I cannot sing.
3. There is springtime in my soul today,
For when the Lord is near,
The dove of peace sings in my heart,
The flow’rs of grace appear.
4. There is gladness in my soul today,
And hope and praise and love,
For blessings which he gives me now,
For joys “laid up” above.
Hello Tony, good to read your comments, Jack would appreciate it.Anne,7daon
