Jean... that is not Walthew Lane, it is Warrington Road, just outside the Platt Bridge Inn. Droney's Clothes Shop just obscured by the lad closest to camera.

Sorry Dennis, it is Walthew Lane. The Post Office at the end of Platt Street is in Walthew Lane. I was brought up in the chip shop across from The King William at No. 49 Walthew Lane.

Just had a check and it is not often I am right but I am wrong again! You is quite right, Walthew Lane begins at the Westminster Bank Buildings.
