Wigan Album

This photograph looks like it was taken in the early 1900s judging from the styles of clothes and hats. Taken on St Catharine's Rec probably after the Sunday walk this most atmospheric photograph depicts how well church was attended in those days with the vicar and curate (or possibly guest speaker) on the back of a flat back lorry or stage giving their all. If anyone can provide information (unlikely I know) please let us know.
