the lady to the left is Dorothy Bentham, who with her husband Syd, ran the chippy in Victoria Street They were the best fish and chips that I had ever tasted. The lady in the middle is Lily Owens(nee Chapman)

Mum saw the photos for the first time a few days ago, and told me about them. Thanks for posting them Fred, and for the comments. Now living in Hove,Sussex.
Should have mentioned a special thanks to 'Clifford Hayton' for taking Mum to & from a recent Christmas Party at the Deanery, and telling her about the photos by Fred.
