This is possibly the 1946 match against Warrington at Central Park, on Saturday November 9th, which Wigan lost 3 - 4.

Great photo from 2 years before I was born, those post war crowds were huge.
I might not have been there for this match but remember the crowds in the 50’s and P.A. Kinley’s shop in King Street.
