This is the engine installed at Easthouses Colliery. The arrangment drawing for this engine is shown in Walkers Engineering on page 2.

Tom Meadows on pages 119, 120 and 121 in his book "Pagefield Motor Vehicles" refers to this engine.
Alf Donaldson, fitter and an apprentice took three months to erect this engine on site. Two fitters and a labourer from the pit assisted. A week of trials with steam followed.
There were no problems, it ran like a swiss watch!
