Harry, brilliant photo. My auntie Agnes is on the extreme right of the photo. Her son, John Blackburn, is the little blonde haired boy, front row, 2nd from right. They lived at 47, Bank St. Agnes married Jimmy Blackburn. They later moved to Pennine Lane.
Uncle Jimmy worked at Naylors, Electro-Hydaulics and then at Harbens, in the Engineering Dept. He died in 1976, aged about 51. Aunty Agnes died about 18 months ago.
In 1970, John moved to Holland, after qualifying in Mechanical Enineering, and worked for the Fokker Aircraft Company. He married Margaret, a Dutch girl, and had 3 daughters. They adopted a fourth girl,Kim from Surinam, a former Dutch colony.
John still comes over to have a few pints in the Rams Head and the Sports and Social Club, in fact he'll be coming in the next week or two. I'm waiting for his email to let me know and I'll pick him up at Livrpool Airprt.

Jimmy Blackburn, my dad, died at the age of 52. My fourth daughter Kim came from Soth Korea.
