That to me looks like Mike Smith, who came from the Preston area, when Brock Mill was Inaugurated. Good Graphic Artist, we had worked on projects together and he designed my business stationary for me.

The paper was a throw back from preston.

The photographs in the P&Chronicle looked as though they was taken in fog.

That I think was a combination of the Mk 1 Klischographs and the next best thing to blotting paper that was amusingly known as newsprint

Just discovered this photo - it isn't Mike Smith, it's my brother David Lowe who was the artist for the Evening Post and Chronicle in the 70's and 80's. I also worked there as did another brother and my father who were Linotype Operators. Happy days.
