1980s I think. I worked at The Queens in the 1980s and it was painted green and cream as in the photo; I actually did a drawing of it in those colurs for my friend Eileen, who was the landlady, and it hung behind the bar. Later, the brewery re-painted it in a different colour.
The boarded up shop used to be Dolly Winstanley's grocers in the 60s and early 70s
That was the chiropodists where the 2 ladies stood chatting on the left are in front of.
