BRIAN : I love the News section of your website, its great to be able to keep up with all the news from back home, even though most of it is about drunks fighting and burglaries, armed robberies etc, but now and again there is a bit of good news thrown in eh?.

I have really enjoyed reading the news articles, I,ll check back regularly to read them. The guestbook is a great way to see where Ex Wiganers end up around the world, we get everywhere dont we?. As you can probably tell Im an Ex Uphollander.

I'm coming to Wigan in March 2002 to see a close friend. Just wanted to "do some homework" in advance. Your site is excellent, I enjoyed the pictures and I'm very impressed with the beauty and history of the town.

Have lived in devon for almost 30years and
still can't come to terms with leaving Wigan.This site is so good i don't know if it's made me feel better or worse!

Nice site but you are using the wrong town crest. Yours is the Metro crest that includes Atherton, Tyldesley, Leigh etc, towns in their own right that are nothing to do with Wigan. One of the two old genuine Wigan crests would be more appropriate.
