Millgate and Scholes
It's quite a contrast.

This was on 5 February in Album.
This has been shown the other day, with then and now.
So not a lot to say about it!
This photos a twicer, I saw it on the album section 5th of February this year.
Probably it was not only the new roads that cut people off from neigbours & friends but having to move from a terraced house in a street where everybody knew everybody into a tower block.
The trees in the foreground mask one of the highrise flats..

Nothing to add.
I still prefer the old Scholes it was safer. It’s like dicing with death when crossing the roads - from a country bumpkin’s view.
I much prefer Frank's 1960s photo, it has that zip.
