My word Edna , that comes from a Fairy tale , absolutely magical! Above and below , everything. I’m gobsmacked , really I am! What an absolute gem !

If there was a Wigan World competition for photo of the year this would have been a great contender.
I don’t know why we don’t have a competition. I have just got the CountryFile calendar and this is just as good as any of the photographs in it.

Silently moving never apart
The two necks shaped like one great heart ,
Is this a sleep I can't depart ,
Are they real or replicate
As in a dream or make-believe ?
They glided out from shady reeds ,
Yet I am awake so not deceived ,
And saw the swans at Haigh one eve .
