Brrr, looks lovely, but wouldn't like to fall in the icey water this time of year.

Harry, that is a cracking photo, full of movement, I can almost hear the clacking of those bits of tin at the tops of the masts....just great.

Sorry know nothing about sailing - what's an Enterprise boat?

Wonderful choppy blue green water . Brilliant picture .

Good photo, messing about on the river, (or is it the Flash?). The ice-blue colour of the sails adds to the feeling of chilliness in the water, but it's a beautiful colour.

The reflection of the sails make the water blue. Fantastic photo.

The Reluctant Sailor.

I’m out on the flash with the Sailing Club
But I don’t feel safe in this little tub
Mi feet are wet and mi bottom’s soggy
Mi stomach’s churning and I’m decidedly groggy
I don’t know who’s winning and I don’t much care
Just put me ashore on that land over there
No more to be a sailor and sail the raging sea
Next week I’ll stay at home and watch it on T.V.

Who are these invaders to our lake ?
We've not heard their call before .
The rattling ropes on their long throats
Like bells in the wind's roar ,
Who out hiss the geese as they slice
The metal green water . And we
Who have who've been out graced
By these strange birds with featherless wings ,
Are glad they come then go .

That’s a classy one Harry ..reminds me of the time I went to Rhode Island in America. The sea was just as blue and the white sails of the boats make it look so fresh.

T. An Enterprise is what you see here, all the boats are competing against the the same class or make of boat. Thanks all for your interest.

And Newquay where the surfers are. Lovely blue/green seas.
You don't have to go abroad to see it. We have much to offer in this County.
