That Bridge

You certainly can’t go past that bridge Dennis.
It’s what you would call a romantic image is that.
It also looks as if it’s been added to on top over time.
The Bridge of Sighs, to take in and let out a long, loud breath in a way that shows you are bored, disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic photo Dennis. Wigan is blessed with some great rural walks.
One of the most photographed bridge in Wigan, and why not, it's lovely especially on a day like today.

You can't get too much of a good thing Dennis . Monet pained the same scene over again many times to capture different effects of light and atmosphere .
I walked up to the bridge last week and saw an absolute crumper of a carp sunning itself in the pool .

It’s a case of living on the doorstep and taking these beauty spots for granted. I think most of us are guilty of that.
