Now this photo takes me back to the day when I was invited to climb up the windmill when it was being restored.

A nice fresh looking scene. It looks like early morning with the covering of frost.
Pictures of Haigh windmill are always pleasing, from any angle and in any season, and bring back happy memories of visiting my friend who used to live nearby. A lovely photo, Dennis.

Haigh must be the only place in Wigan that has a windmill.

Syd, I don't suppose there are to many Wiganers who have been up on top of the Windmill, so I feel very proud to have achieved it.
