An interesting photo, David.
Where is this, what is it used for and who owns it?

Isnt a Dry Dock where boats are out of water for repairs ?
Take another photo in the Spring David !

The dry dock is is like a lock that goes nowhere. When it's full you open the gates and enter the dock. When the gates are closed the water is drained out the dock and your boat sits on cross beams for bottom painting and repairs.
