Just found a photo by Rev David Long of Crested China, Spring View - WW Album (No date given)

The Rev's comment:

'I would expect Wigan to have justified making a "special" for the town and its surrounds - but one for the little settlement of Spring View - with very "local" references, like the wagon works (above the shield), as well as the pit brow lass, mines, mine cars etc which you might find for other mining communities?'
