Not sure what to say, I-spy. Is your post the start of a cryptic thread or a more serious question?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 12:11
i -spy, your being very mysterious.....
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 12:21
Who or what are you missing?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 12:53
it's very serious jo anne - there's a big hole in my Thursday night.
And it was a big shock - no warning at all
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 13:34
Aha, I-spy, in that case, could getting away for a bit, perhaps to somewhere with a sandy beach, maybe make you feel a little better?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 13:39
You sound like Alan Partridge with that Aha...and unfortunately my one time career as a deckchair attendant has left me with an aversion to beaches
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 13:55
Oh, that's a shame, I-spy, I was hoping if that were the case you'd let us all fit in it & escape with you.
Though I did consider you might prefer the solitude of a podcast-away.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 14:10
Ok, I'll bite, what happens at your house on a Thursdat night i-spy?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 15:17
There are clues in the thread, Jazzy, you just need to get on I-spy's wavelength.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 15:26
jazzy knowing I-spy it will be some person out of a TV programme
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 15:44
PeterP .... it will be some person out of a TV programme.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 16:14
Im at a disadvantage as I hardly watch any TV, but Im guessing Judith Chalmers or Gloria Honeybunch?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 16:29

i-spy, did you know that Judith Chalmers never wore knickers for 30 years filming Wish you were here?
Sorry cant get the link to work!
Judith Chalmers
At last!

Are those two lovely ladies still with us
PeterP will have the answer - he knows his onions
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 16:35
That's why Judith never ventured onto the beach then
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 16:47
I'm not sure wearing no knickers to avoid VPL sounds like a 'Top Tip'
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 16:51
It does give a whole new meaning to Wish You Were Here though!
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 17:16
i-spy, with my little eye, nowt! ive no Idea whats on TV on a Thursday evening, so can somebody tell me please! Ta
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 17:19
"Wish You Were Here"
The lady I-spy is missing was hear one day, and gone the next.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 17:22
I thought it was wish you were here jo anne, but which presenter?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 17:24
Sorry to cause confusion, Jazzy, she wasn't on wish you were here as far as I know, "hear" is the clue.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 17:32
I'm baffled
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:29
Join the club
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:30
Anyway you started it
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:31
Sorry, Jazzy, and I-spy, I'm surprised You Haven't Got A Clue!
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:34
what day is it
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:35
I was a bit slow with the hear clue, but Im completely blooming baffled about what or who has deserted i-spy on thursday nights!
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:38
I hope I've got it right after all that, Jazzy & I-spy - my guess.
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:43
Sorry but I was glad to see the back of her
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:47
Whoops, so I've got it all wrong, I-spy?!
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:50
Afraid so jo anne. Sleep well
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:53
And you
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:54
Jo anne I cant stand that woman! im sure i-spy has better taste?
Replied: 26th Jun 2015 at 23:55
I-spy didn't seem to give my guess a good reception, Jazzy.
I thought it was a radio presenter given I-spy's reference to Alan Partridge, and I'd seen a tweet about Sandi's sudden departure ... and the rest, as they say, is mystery.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 00:08
Sure is. I'm falling asleep now jo anne, hopfully i-spy will reveal all tomorrow!
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 00:28
From what he's said he probably will, Jazzy, and it won't be altogether a shock for his neighbours. Thread
Sorry for my misleading mistakes - I bet I-spy wonders how I could err about 'her'.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 09:30
Dont worry jo anne, I cant fathom i-spys meanderings either. Come on i-spy fess up!
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 10:31
I've been advised to box clever to ease the pain
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:11
As in a box set of DVDs, I-spy?
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:14
Bad or Good, she's the one for me.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:17
Aha! Could it be there's an E.R. character in her?
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:19
You're doing Alan Partridge again jo anne
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:22
Juliet Mike? Thinking along the lines of Alpha Papa - good film!
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:22

The Good Wife - Seasons 1-5 [DVD] £48 - a bargain
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:33
I think Sandi Toksvig was an own goal, I-spy.
Was Alan Partridge a clue, I-spy?
And the deck chair attendant?
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:35
Sounds like a Good fix, I-spy. I'm not normally good at net kicks, but we have got Netflix, so might look into watching The Good Wife online.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:36
Julianna Margulies? Sorry to be late, I was mopping the kichen floor!

Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:39
Jazzy - I like the actress but can never remember her name!
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:40
I watched the Good Wife for the first season, then got bored with it, sorry i-spy!

jo anne, try Suits, Gabriel Macht is very easy on the eye
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:44
I did watch ER jo anne but I was focussed on Alex Kingston back then
I don't know how Alan Partridge crept in - I think it was your Aha that did it.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:46
I love Gabriel Byrne, Jazzy, but I bet Julianna is I-spy's favourite angel.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:46
Oh, Alex Kingston was a Doctor so I got it right about Julianna being your favourite angel then, I-spy? Didn't Alex go on to work with another doctor ... Who?!
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:50
I bought the complete series of the West Wing when it finished.
There were 154 episodes (112 hours), 5 hours of extras, interviews, unaired scenes etc on 44 DVD's.
So far I've not got beyond disc 3.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:51
Aha, so Alan Partridge was a thread herring, I-spy, so you can't put all my erring down to me.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:52
I could blame jazzy for distracting me with tales of Judith no knickers
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 12:56
i-spy, you must be easily distracted we have 3 copies of all seasons of the West Wing, dont ask how that happened, its too complicated to explain!but I loved it. Wish we had a Jed Bartlett running our country, come to that, I bet the US wishes the same

Nice try, I-spy, but Judith no knickers was after the Partridge in the err spree.
And what of the deck chair attendant?
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 13:04
I like Martin Sheen, but haven't watched The West Wing either - the internet dazzles me too much.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 13:06
I bet your mopped floor has a good sheen now, Jazzy, being busy is better than moping about, I-spy.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 13:08
I'm afraid your reference to Sandy beach reminded me of the difficulties I had working as a deckchair attendant jo anne but that's another story
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 13:26
I think WW would be interested to see how that story unfolds, I-spy.
Replied: 27th Jun 2015 at 13:31
Some people used to bury them you know
Replied: 28th Jun 2015 at 22:15
Did you need a meddle-detector in that case, I-spy?
Replied: 28th Jun 2015 at 22:39
They'd wait til you'd gone and then sneak back to nick 'em.
Replied: 28th Jun 2015 at 22:41
If caught people burying them you could've shouted, "Hey, they're deck chairs, not dead-chairs!"
Replied: 28th Jun 2015 at 22:50
I'll remember that if I ever decide to go back. But deckchairs still send a shiver down the spine.
Replied: 28th Jun 2015 at 23:12
Just discovered that series 4 of the Good Wife is being repeated starting tonight on More4 . Happy days

Replied: 2nd Jul 2015 at 22:13
I bet WW won't get a look in tonight now The Good Wife is on, Jazzy.
Replied: 2nd Jul 2015 at 22:36

Replied: 2nd Jul 2015 at 22:49
