I've just had a look at that 'Wigan Live' forum, which has been mentioned on here a time or two.

Johnnybegood is talking to himself and A Proud Latics Supporter is listening!

APLS, you misunderstood. The photo of the ghost looks like a pitbrow lass. I know who Sister Rose was.

PS. I'm not a plastic Wiganer, am an Incer. I just don't live there anymore.

This forum has lost a bloody good poster is apls, he was just going through his "roobarb period" much like Piccasso went through his "bloo period" but he came good again as i'm sure apls would have done.

I don't look at other Wigan forums so can't comment but will just clarify 4 points made on here.

gaffer - wiganworld server is in Gloucester, UK.

rayonline5555 - Yep, I'm on Wigan Lane.

©art© - I flitted about 3 years ago.

tonker - What can I say? tonker is never wrong.

Replied: 5th Jul 2011 at 23:19

Brian said - "Yep, I'm on Wigan Lane"

then he said - "tonker is never wrong"

So. Would I not be wrong again, as usual, by saying you're not on Wigan Lane, you're on Standishgate?

I too remember Sister Rose. I found her strict but fair and she would never haunt her beloved school. She wrote the school song and we sung it each morning in assembly.
It began........ Great Saint Thomas saint of England. Any old Tommy More girls remember it?

nicko, Tonker is arguementative, frustrating and pedantic
but he ain´t a bullsh+++er .
Like him or loathe him, forums like WW thrive on people like Tonker, who encourage debate and discussion.

Look the word, 'tonker' up, Nicola. Then all will be revealed. (Well, not revealed per se) (The urban dictionary site, not his own site for gay men, which I have just seen.)
