Moon landing: important questions.

Started by: i-spy (15258)

It'll soon be the 40th anniversary but there are still questions to be answered.
1. Is REM's Man on the Moon the best Moon tune ever

2, Was it really all filmed at Bickershaw.

NASA has never answered the question of how could humans have survived the intense solar radiation, which is found outside of the Van Allen Belts which surround the Earth and protect the Earth from this lethal radiation and which the Apollo Astronauts would have had to travel through and remain in, if they had gone to the moon

So did man really land on the moon or was it a big hoax to upstage and upset the Russians

I think much of our "history" is contrived by politicians.
The truth I suspect is even stranger than the lies.

And then there is the question of radiation and the Van Allen Belts, in low earth orbit where the Space Shuttle orbit's these belts provide protection from the intense solar radiation emitted from the Sun, but the Apollo Astronauts would have had to survive in the radiation environment which is found beyond the Van Allen Belts on a journey to the moon, which apparently is impossible, so some experts say

I don't think Sting would have wrote a song if it wasn't true.

If the moon landing by the USA had not been real the Russians would have found proof of a hoax long ago.

As I have told you before the tracking station that received the first pictures from that moon landing in 1969,isn't very far from where I live and its replacement is even closer and actual dish that received those signals is now at the new location.I have posted a photogragh of that particular antenna on the Forum, and it is still being used today for for near Earth observations.
Some of the questions asked about the authenticity of this event have all been answered by the surviving astronauts of that era plus many of the people involved in making it happen and those who were monitoring it in various parts of the world, including Honeysuckle Creek in Australia. For example, the astronauts wore those special suits for protection against radiation, the flag appeared to be waving because the men had to twist the pole in the the moon's surface and besides the material would ripple when unfurled. For further information,as you all know,is available on the Net or I can get some from my local space tracking station.
As you may or may not know,I'm not for flying ole glory, but this is one instance I'm on their side.

Douglas.

Was there any need for such a churlish comment?

Leythers have feelings too.

Everyone knows that the dark side of the moon has a terrible atmosphere problem and is incapable of sustaining intelligent life forms.

If we can see stars etc most of the time from Earth, then why was the "sky" in the background completely black and not one star in sight ? There are no clouds on the Moon.
