I thought the bit in Stubshaw Cross about the local historian, Raymond Davies, was quite funny.

on the bottom of the Wikpedia page "link from Tonker first message" are the words " Geography Of Wigan "

If you click on the 'geography of Wigan' it lists all the places IN Wigan

Tonker,You almost got away with belittling me behind my back...but your not as clever as you think you are because that so called history of stubshaw cross was written and submitted to Wikapedia by a local idiot who didn`t bother to do the same amount of research as I did and is comprehensivly WRONG... I have never claimed to be a `historian` but I will claim to have done research. And I can prove without a shadow of doubt that what I say is right.. not that I am clever or arrogant. I have just worked hard on research....Wait for the book..
