phobias

Started by: aitch (5487)

Have you any phobias, can not do, will not do, an old friend of mine would never wear or have any thing to do with the colour green, I had a car painted silk green, which was more silver than green, which my friend cheerfully rode in, until I told him the colour description, he then refused to have anything whatever to do with it, I said that green is the colour of life it self, but he was adamant he wasn't getting in that car again, my wife god rest her soul, would go into hospital for operation after operation, of which she had many, but would not go to a dentist for love or money.

I will NOT get into a lift - NO WAY!!!

I have been hypnotised to try and stop the fear and they still terrify the life out of me.

I feel like I'm being suffocated and cannot breathe.

Also my heart beats 20 to the dozen - the most horrible experience I have ever had!!!

Dentists and spiders dopn't bother me at all

I hate heights. Dont even like going up ladders. I did a parachute jump some years back for charity and also to try and get over my fear. I did the jump but it made it worse, had nightmares for about three weeks afterwards. I remember when I told my dad I was doing the jump he said, "Son, there is two things that fall out the air. Bird crap and idiots!"

I'm with you aspuller Frogs, I found seven of the dirty bu****s in the garden last year all in a clump and i nearly died, told my son to get them in a bucket and pour them down the grid. Then speaking to my neighbour, he says he doesn't know where the frogs are this year they haven't come back to his pond, no and their not likely too either!

Tell yer what OC I dunno how anyone can parachute again and again! Frittened me and I wont be rushing to do it again. Two of my mates on the parachute jump went and did it again straight away after but I wouldnt. I got dizzy in the 70's in me platform shoes, thats how frittened of height I am!

I loved parachuting Fran, managed to progress from the various stages of 'static line' to 'freefall' (none of this rubbish 'tandem' jumping )

Got old now, and been awhile since I jumped, so would have to start from scratch if I took it up again

Miggins: Well, today's hot choice is Chicken Pimpernel in a Scarlet Sauce,
Scarlet Chicken in a Pimpernel Sauce, or Huge Suspicious-Looking
Sausages in a Scarlet Pimpernel Sauce.

Edmund: What exactly is Scarlet Pimpernel sauce?

Miggins: [she uses her hands to demonstrate as she speaks] You take a large
ripe frog, squeeze it [one of the squishy noises is heard as she
makes this motion, giving away what the noise is] --

Is that a phobophobic?

Or am I thinking of a 4 x 4?

Or even a four by two?

But then that would be a plank.

Or wood it?
