Reminds me of the good old days. I`d a 1946 350cc Royal Enfield bought 2nd hand in 1954, had telescopic frt.forks & was rigid at rear. Bought a brand new 250cc Royal Enfield `Clipper` in 1955. Finally, before getting a Morris Minor in 1958, bought a brand new 350cc Royal Enfield `Bullet` in 1956.

I sold this bike to a friend in 1999.I bought it back in March this year [2011 ].It was in bad condition having been stood in a garage and left to rot.I'm carrying out a complete restoration at present.

It was 1989 when I sold the bike not 1999.
