Wigan Album

This van is the same type that I drove at Glover's Bakery in Hindley in 1945, It was my second van there. The first one was a 12 h,p, Morris with bald tyres, no drivers side window, hand operated wiper,you had to pump the foot brake and the starter motor could be reached through a hole in the floor. I think it was a 1934 model. the Ford only broke down about once a week. The good old days? E.T.
