Standish Boys Brigade, can anyone help with dates/location?

The photo may have been taken in Standish but I am sure that all the boys belong to Ince Parish Church Boys Brigade.
I can see quite a few that I know-- Brian Clark,Clifford Entwistle,Wallie Blakeley,one of the Parr brothers and maybe one of the Mccracken Brothers

Looking again, I think it may be on 'The Rec' Ince which belonged to Ince Parish Church.I can see Derek Phoenix on as well

Looking at the boys that I knew I would estimate that the photo was taken approx 1955.
Occasion?? Maybe Walking Day or Carnival??

This is indeed Ince Church lads Brigade taken in 1953 on Ince Central playing field. The photo has been posted before and is in 'Assorted' 1st Wigan Battallion
