Its the Gaskell Cup at the Wigan & District Battalion Sports Day at the old Municiple Stadium behind Springfield Park. I am the only Platt Bridger in specs to left of the Battlion President Norman Fleming

The first lad on the back row the family had a carpet shop in Platt Bridge and they lived in the Willow Lodge was he in Abram brigade or St. Nats?

15th almost certain. He wasn't in ther 10th, although like a few others I know their faces but not their names.
Regarding the lad and the carpet fitters. I think his dad was Ellis Wood.
