The Council Depot used to be a coach and ambulance builders in the late 1800's called Proe & Co Ltd, it may be them

My Grandfather was a cutter down at Clarinton Forge so this is a nostalgic photo for me.It is also one of the best old industrial photos I have seen.

The place is still there, now known as Bulldog Tools. Looks like it was the fitters shop. Still is to this day though half of it is now for storage.
