These multi-lift 30Tonners are 3 of the same types I drove before retiring from Forshaws. The two on the left were taken at C.W.S. Sun Flour Mills on Trafford Wharf during demolition early '80s. I first started on Heavy Goods lorries at the same flour mill in 1949. Top right, at RAF Woodvale with Chipmunk aircraft in background during demolition of an old metal Hangar about 1983. Last one at Industrial Estate on Lowton Rd.about 1992.

Hi Robert, are you related to Colin. When did you drive at Forshaws. I retired in '93. John Wright may have driven AEH after I left. He was at Forshaws twice. First time he was there I had shown him the ropes on a scrap paper job from Stoke to Ellesmere Port and the first time he went on his own, a car crashed into his back end as he crawled up a hill on the M6 just before Keele Services, a woman passenger was killed in the car.Did you know about that? E.T.
